Production Operator

About the Role

Entry-level on-site role at our Evans City, Pennsylvania plant. You will run reactor batches, monitor process controls, sample product for QC, and keep the production area clean and inspection-ready. We provide hands-on training — chemical industry experience is helpful but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Charge raw materials and run batch reactions following established SOPs
• Monitor temperature, pressure, flow, and other process parameters from the control room
• Take in-process samples and deliver them to the QC laboratory
• Package finished product into drums, totes, or cylinders per shipping specifications
• Maintain accurate batch records and log all production data legibly
• Perform routine housekeeping and 5S audits in the production area
• Identify and report process deviations, near misses, and safety concerns immediately

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the majority of a 12-hour shift
• Willingness to wear full chemical PPE including a respirator
• Comfortable working a rotating shift schedule including nights and weekends
• Reliable transportation to the Evans City facility
• Ability to read and follow written procedures in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a chemical, refinery, or pharmaceutical operator
• Forklift certification
• Familiarity with DCS or SCADA systems
• Vocational training in process technology or industrial chemistry
