About the Role
On-site role supporting global regulatory compliance for our specialty chemical product portfolio out of Newburyport, Massachusetts. You will prepare and maintain product registrations, safety data sheets, and customer technical documentation across REACH, TSCA, K-REACH, and other chemical inventories.
Key Responsibilities
- Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with GHS, OSHA HazCom, and EU CLP
- Manage TSCA, REACH, and other chemical inventory registrations across active markets
- Coordinate with R&D and supply chain to ensure new products meet regulatory requirements prior to launch
- Respond to customer regulatory questionnaires and conflict-mineral / RoHS / REACH SVHC disclosures
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on existing product registrations
- Support label review and regulatory artwork approval for product packaging
- Maintain regulatory document control and audit-ready record retention
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, or related field
- 3+ years of regulatory affairs experience in chemicals, pharma, or related industry
- Working knowledge of GHS, OSHA HazCom 2012, EU CLP, and TSCA
- Familiarity with at least one SDS authoring system (3E Sphera, ChemPax, MSDgen, or similar)
- Excellent technical writing and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple registration projects with overlapping deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with REACH dossier preparation or IUCLID submissions
- Knowledge of EPA pesticide / antimicrobial registration (FIFRA)
- Familiarity with international transport regulations (DOT, IATA, IMDG)
- Second language proficiency (Mandarin, Korean, German, or French)
